Noakhali, Feb. 2 -- A 13-year-old girl was reportedly gang raped by two youths at Charmajid village in Charbata union of Subarana char upazila on Thursday night.

Police arrested Israfil Azad Shwapon, 23, son of late Taiyab Mia and Nizam Uddin, 22, son of Chan Mia, all hailing from South Charmajid village in East Charbata Union of the upazila on Saturday morning.

Inspector Ibrahim Khalil of Charjabbar Police Station said the girl was picked up by auto-rickshaw driver Swapon after assuring her mother to reach her home without fare.

Later around 9 pm, the girl was taken to a lonely place in South Char Majid village where Nizam and Swapon in turns raped her, he added.
