Bangladesh, Jan. 16 -- Outgoing Nepalese Ambassador in Dhaka Dr Chop Lal Bhusal and his spouse on Tuesday made a farewell call on Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina at the latter's office in the city, reports UNB.

At the meeting, they discussed various issues relating to mutual interests particularly cooperation on hydrological electricity and communication sectors, said PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim while briefing reporters after the meeting.

The PM renewed her proposal to Nepal for using Syedpur Airport which is being developed as a regional airport as it lies just 20 minutes by air from the Eastern Nepal.
