Dhaka, Feb. 16 -- Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, was forced to spend another night in Warsaw after the plane, a Boeing 777, on which he was scheduled to fly home, was damaged just before takeoff by a pushback tractor.

After the airport mishap, Netanyahu, his wife and senior staff, returned to the Warsaw Intercontinental, where they had been staying since Tuesday, February 12.

A new plane was sent from Israel to Warsaw to bring the prime minister and his entourage back, El Al, the flag carrier of Israel said.

He departed from Warsaw around noon Friday, February 15.

Netanyahu had been scheduled to leave Warsaw after arriving for an international conference focused on Middle East security.
