Bhubaneswar, Jan. 15 -- Coming down heavily on the Odisha government over the incident in which a class VIII girl delivered a baby in a residential school in Daringbadi, the Mahila Congress today demanded the resignation of SCST Development minister Ramesh Majhi and Women and Child Development minister Prafulla Samal. The party has also demanded the suspension of the secretaries of both the departments and the collector of Kandhamal.

The Mahila Congress members threatened that if Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik fails to act within the next 72 hours, they will launch a state-wide agitation from January 19 onwards.
