Sambalpur/Keonjhar, Jan. 20 -- In an unfortunate incident, two persons were killed and many others including elderly women and children sustained injuries after a bus they were travelling in collided head-on with a tanker near Kayakuda on Sambalpur-Rairakhol road. The deceased have been identified as residents of Balichandrapur area in Jajpur.
According to sources, the mishap occurred last night when the bus packed with over 40 passengers from Balichandrapur was returning from a picnic in Sambalpur. While one person was killed on the accident spot, another succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment in the District Sadar Hospital.
