GUWAHATI, Jan. 21 -- Annapriya Devi, the oldest resident of Panjabari area here, was felicitated today on the occasion of her 99th birthday.
Several speakers, including Madhab Barthakur, Bipin Bhattacharya and Gokul Kataki, spoke on the social service by Devi, who is also an accomplished weaver. Her husband, the late Dayanath Sarma, was a freedom fighter.
