Sri Lanka, Feb. 8 -- The Terrorist Investigation Division (TID) informed Additional Magistrate Pasan Amarasinghe that an investigation has been started regarding an incident in which an unknown person has given around Rs.20 million to the parents of Safraz Milan Ahmed, the first Sri Lankan who died in the war in Syria after joining the ISIS terrorist organization.

The TID informed the Court that this investigation was initiated under the Convention on the Suppression of Terrorist Financing Act.

The investigators informed Court that it has been revealed that Mohammad Muhusin Safraz Milan Ahmed was killed in the war in Syria in 2015, and that his brother Mohammad Muhusit Ishaq Ahmed had also joined the IS terrorist organization in Syria....
