Sri Lanka, March 29 -- It is better to hold the Presidential Election first than the Parliamentary Elections in order to save the country from the current economic crisis, for the country can be rebuilt only through a stable government," Urban Development and Housing Minister Prasanna Ranatunga said.

He emphasised that there is no possibility of establishing a stable government through a Parliamentary Election at the moment.

The Minister further said a stable government must be appointed in order to rescue the country from the current crisis and it can be possible by holding the Parliamentary Elections after the Presidential Election.
