Sri Lanka, April 17 -- Colombo Additional Magistrate Manjula Ratnayake granted permission to the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) to detain till April 22 and question the 10 suspects who were arrested in the seas off the Southern Coast along with drugs worth Rs.3,800 million.
The suspects are residents of Weligama, Talpe, Imaduwa and Devinuwara.
Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) Chief Inspector K.N.O. Jayaratne had reported facts to court regarding this incident.
According to the PNB, the Sri Lanka Navy had seized a haul of narcotics including 179 Kg and 906g of crystal methamphetamine (Ice) and 83 Kg and 582g of heroin along with the suspects on April 12.
