Sri Lanka, March 4 -- Amalgamating indigenous medicine along with Western medicine treatment will help Sri Lanka attract more tourists, Minister of Health, Dr. Ramesh Pathirana said.

Opening the 13th edition of the Medicare, the National Health Expo at Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre at BMICH on Friday he said that many tourists visit Sri Lanka for health tourism and most of them are from India and China. He also expects to promote health tourism by partnering up with the tourism sector stakeholders.
