India, Feb. 10 -- Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre (RGCIRC) is taking significant strides in expanding its philanthropic reach to support underprivileged cancer patients. At a conference held at its Rohini Centre in Delhi, RGCIRC unveiled a comprehensive plan to foster partnerships aimed at making quality cancer care more accessible and affordable.

Rakesh Chopra, Chairman of RGCIRCsaid, "With an initial contribution of just Rs 49 lakh, the hospital has achieved significant milestones since its incorporation. We have a corpus of Rs 100 crore and our goal is to expand this corpus to Rs 300 crore within the next three years. The interest accrued will be utilised to support economically disadvantaged patients."
