India, May 2 -- In the ever-growing SUV segment, Tata Motors continues to face stiff competition from major manufacturers like Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, and Hyundai Motor India Limited. The company has recently revealed that its total wholesales rose 11.5 per cent YoY to 77,521 units last month as compared to 69,599 units in April 2023. According to an official statement, Tata Motor's total domestic deliveries increased by 12 per cent to 76,399 units last month from 68,514 units in April 2023. Meanwhile, the sales of passenger vehicles surged by 2 per cent to 47,983 units last month from 47,107 units in April last year. These figures include both ICE-powered versions and electric vehicles.
