India, May 9 -- Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the eagerly-awaited new Swift in India, with a starting price of Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The legendary hatch has always been among the best-selling models, with its remarkable value package. With a fourth-generation avatar, it now seeks to carry on its history with an extensive list of enhancements, including a new engine. Beginning with the exterior, the hatch looks great, maintaining its classic profile while adopting some contemporary features like a reworked rear bumper, new alloy wheels, updated headlamps, modified fog lamps, and new C-shaped taillamps.
