India, March 12 -- Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has initiated a recall for two of its premium motorcycle models, the CBR1000RR and the Gold Wing GL1800. The Japanese bike giant claims that a faulty fuel pump is what prompted the recall. Going into the specifics of the issue, it appears that the fuel pumps in the CBR1000RR Fireblade and the Honda Gold Wing GL1800 may malfunction and cause the bikes to come to a standstill while they are moving. The latest announcement from the Indian arm of the bikemaker comes just days after the global recall of over 20,000 units of the Gold Wing, the CBR1000RR Fireblade, and the CBR 600 RR.
