New Delhi, April 18 -- BJP leader Shaina NC criticised Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi for her recent claim that the BJP won't win more than 180 seats if "EVMs are not tampered." The BJP leader termed Priyanka Gandhi's remarks unfortunate and said that the Congress party has accepted the defeat.

"Priyanka Gandhi made a remark not just on the Election Commission but also on the entire election process. India has had a capable democratic pattern, and this will continue. It is clear that the Congress party has accepted defeat. When you accept defeat, you make such unfortunate remarks on EVM tampering," Shalini NC said while speaking to ANI.

"But the truth is that India is the world's largest democracy," she said.
