Jakarta, April 23 -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) affirmed that he views the final verdict on the election dispute read by the Constitutional Court (MK) as vital proof of the government's innocence regarding election partiality allegations.

"The MK's ruling also dismisses all allegations made against the government, such as fraud, apparatus intervention and mobilization, politicization of social aid, and partiality of regional leaders. This is important to the government," he remarked on Tuesday.

Jokowi made the statement on the sidelines of the inauguration of a post-earthquake reconstruction project in Mamuju, West Sulawesi, broadcast by his secretariat in Jakarta.
