Indonesia, April 27 -- Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, congratulated the Rimpu Mantika Festival in Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara, as one of Indonesia's premier festivals.

"Congratulations, Rimpu Mantika. Let us preserve this heritage for future generations, as our goal is to boost the economy and create job opportunities," Uno said while opening the Rimpu Mantika Festival in Bima City on Friday night, as quoted in a statement on Saturday.

He added that Rimpu Mantika managed to become one of the premier festivals in Indonesia, as it was included in the ministry's Karisma Event Nusantara (KEN) in 2024.

He noted that the festival has convinced tourism experts and players that the festival is successful.
