Bhubaneswar, July 16 -- Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, accompanied by First Lady Jayashree Kambhampati, on Thursday participated in the grand Rath Yatra celebrations at Puri along with lakhs of devotees gathered for the annual festival of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra.
The Governor offered prayers to Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath and sought the blessings of the Holy Trinity for peace, prosperity and the welfare of all.
Describing his participation in the festival as a deeply spiritual and enriching experience, Kambhampati said he felt blessed to witness the divine Rath Yatra and to be in the sacred presence of the deities.
