NEW DELHI, Jan. 13 -- Sara Ali Khan is being celebrated for her charm on screen and off it. Daughter of actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh is often compared to another star kid - actor Janhvi Kapoor. The two made their debuts last year. However, the Simmba actor is unfazed. Excerpts: We have been friends before either of us came out and said that we want to be actors. So I have nothing but positivity and goodwill for her in my heart. We are both comfortable in our skin and we don't only understand one another but also understand the industry. We also have respect for every person that makes collages and compares us. I don't think either of us is even offended by these comparisons because we understand it is inevitable. People are going to compare us and that is okay. We are public figures now and this is what we signed up for. Whether it is the way I look, the way I talk or my personal equations - they are all in the public domain and these aren't things I can run away from. We are both mature enough to understand that the industry is big enough for different people who are honest about their work, and we are both honest. So there really is no problem there. It is overwhelming. But I don't think I have arrived. All this appreciation shows that there is potential. I don't think I am ready even now because I think you can never be fully ready. Every set is a new experience and the beautiful thing about my job is that you don't have to be ready to enjoy it. It's not a destination. It's a journey and as long as you are willing to keep learning and exploring and be humble, grateful, aware, that's all you can be. The day you wake up thinking you are ready to take on the world, you are doomed. My parents have always been supportive, no matter what I did. Some comments that I have gotten from people are politically incorrect to quote because one of them said "We are glad that nepotism has brought people like Sara Ali Khan". That is a huge compliment because I am aware of nepotism and the unfairness that it might come with. I am aware that I have access to more things in the industry than other people do. But, I don't think that it's pressure. Honestly, whether it was studying in Columbia University or working in the film industry, I was never averse to pressure. The only thing I can do is to make my mark. When people walk out of the theatre after seeing my work they should remember me for the character and not as Saif Ali Khan's daughter....
