WASHINGTON, June 9 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on June 9 by Brian Knaup, Acting Deputy Director, Integrated Certificate Management Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus SAS Model A350-941 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a manufacturing investigation that found improper application of the fastener retorque process at the center wing box (CWB) and belly fairing (BF) junctions could lead to insufficient clamping.
