CENTERS FOR MEDICARE & MEDICAID SERVICES ISSUES RULE: MEDICARE AND MEDICAID PROGRAMS; REPEAL OF MINIMUM STAFFING STANDARDS FOR LONG-TERM CARE FACILITIES

WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 -- Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has issued a rule called: Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Repeal of Minimum Staffing Standards for Long-Term Care Facilities.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Dec. 3 by Robert F. Kennedy, Secretary, Department of Health and Human Services.

Summary: This interim final rule with comment period repeals provisions of the final rule titled "Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Minimum Staffing Standards for Long-Term Care Facilities and Medicaid Institutional Payment Transparency Reporting."
