Shimla, May 24 -- Shimla is witnessing a massive tourist influx during the ongoing holiday season, with more than 70,000 vehicles moving between Solan and the Himachal capital over the past three days.
Over 25,000 vehicles from other states were also recorded entering the Shimla region, prompting the district police to intensify traffic management measures across the hill city.
According to Shimla district police, extensive traffic management arrangements have been put in place to ensure smooth vehicular movement and convenience for both residents and tourists amid increasing traffic pressure during the peak tourism season.
