Bhubaneswar, May 20 -- In a major anti-corruption crackdown, Odisha Vigilance on Wednesday arrested an Executive Engineer of the Roads & Buildings (R&B) division in Kalahandi district after unearthing a vast array of landed properties, multi-storeyed buildings, and commercial assets allegedly amassed far beyond his known sources of income.
The accused, Bhubaneswar Sabar, Executive Engineer (EE), R&B Sub-Division, Dharmagarh, and in-charge EE of the R&B Division, Bhawanipatna, has been booked under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2018. He will later be produced before the Court of the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhawanipatna.
