Nashik, May 24 -- Illegal passenger transport by vehicle owners is reportedly continuing on a large scale in Nashik district, particularly in rural areas, raising serious concerns over passenger safety. Passengers are allegedly being transported in overloaded vehicles beyond the approved seating capacity, putting their lives at risk on a daily basis.
Questions are now being raised regarding the role of the RTO Department and whether adequate action is being taken against such dangerous transport practices.
