Nahan, May 24 -- A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to probe the deaths of two minor girls whose bodies were recovered from the Yamuna River in Himachal Pradesh's Sirmaur district, Senior Superintendent of Police Nischint Singh Negi said in Nahan on Saturday.

The cases, both reported from the Paonta Sahib subdivision, will be examined from all possible angles. The SIT will be headed by a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)-rank officer and will include the Paonta Sahib police station in-charge and an official from the cyber cell. The team has been directed to submit daily progress reports to the Superintendent of Police's office.
