Senate allows WFH as security checks tightened
Manila, June 9 -- The Senate on Tuesday authorized work-from-home arrangements for its employees on Wednesday and Thursday (June 10 and 11) to give way to security assessments, inspections, and other precautionary measures following threat information relayed by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
In an advisory issued to all Senate offices, Senate President Pro Tempore Sherwin Gatchalian said all Senate Secretariat and Senate Proper employees may work from home for the rest of the week, except those needed for security, safety, maintenance, and other essential functions.
