Bhubaneswar, June 7 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an Orange Warning for three districts of Odisha-Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore-for severe thunderstorm activity accompanied by heavy rainfall, lightning and gusty winds reaching 50-60 kmph during the next 24 hours. The forecast indicates that while a large part of the state is likely to experience light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms over the coming five days, north coastal and northern interior districts remain the most vulnerable to intense weather conditions.
