The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (OPSA) to the Government of India and the Ministry of Heavy Industries in collaboration with the Central Manufacturing Technology Institute, Bengaluru jointly organized a Stakeholder Consultation Meeting to discuss Integrated Advanced Manufacturing Practices at CMTI on 23 February 2026.
The consultation meeting was attended by government representatives, industry associations, manufacturing enterprises, small and medium enterprises, startups, academia, research institutions, and technology developers to obtain systematic suggestions for strengthening India's capabilities in advanced manufacturing systems.
