Srinagar, April 2 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday ordered a major reshuffle in the police leadership, transferring and posting several senior IPS officers across crucial positions, including CID, Crime, Traffic and range commands, with immediate effect.
According to the order issued by the Home Department of Jammu and Kashmir the administrative move affects key operational wings, including CID, Crime, Telecom and field ranges, signaling a strategic reset in the policing structure across Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in sensitive regions such as Rajouri-Poonch, North Kashmir and the Jammu division.
