Dhaka, June 8 -- Three people have been killed after a bus plunged into a roadside ditch in Brahmanbaria's Sarail Upazila.

At least eight others have been injured.

The accident occurred near Boishamura of Shahbazpur Union on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway around 12pm on Monday, said Abu Taher Dewan, chief of Sarail-Khatihata Highway Police Station.

Police have not yet been able to confirm the identities of the dead.
