United Kingdom, May 12 -- Playground Games has issued an extreme ban to a player accused of leaking early gameplay footage from Forza Horizon 6 ahead of its official launch.

The Microsoft-owned studio confirmed it is taking "strict enforcement action" after a playable build of the upcoming racer appeared online days before release. According to reports, one individual who uploaded gameplay videos received a hardware ban lasting until December 31, 9999, effectively a lifetime suspension.
