Tashkent, April 23 -- The embassy of US in Uzbekistan hosted a press conference dedicated to assessment of the air quality in Uzbekistan. Jay Turner, professor of Energy, environmental and chemical engineering was a speaker. He shared his knowledge about the air quality in the country.

At the conference different questions were asked, one of them was about the air quality and WHO air standards. It was mentioned that although Uzbekistan cannot meet the WHO standards, it should try to meet its goals on air quality.
