GREENSBORO, N.C., April 30 -- The city of Greensboro issued the following news release:

The City of Greensboro's Solid Waste and Recycling Department has finished delivering 95-gallon yard waste containers to all eligible households. Customers should start using them right away. Each household received one container, unless they opted to receive no cart. More than 700 residents who purchased a second container prior to April 1 have also received it. Second containers ordered after April 1 will be delivered later this spring.

Residents can learn how to prepare their yard waste at www.greensboro-nc.gov/yardwaste. Here are some helpful tips:
