SPRINGFIELD, Ill., March 28 -- The Illinois Courts Office issued the following opinion on Feb. 28:

1. Held: We affirm defendant's conviction for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver over his contention that the State failed to prove him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

2. Following a bench trial, defendant Cornelius Johnson was found guilty of one count of possession of a controlled substance (PCS) with intent to deliver (720 ILCS 570/401(c)(1) (West 2020)) and sentenced to four years' imprisonment.
