U.S, Feb. 4 -- Paul Loveluck passed away on January 31. He was 81 years old.

Mr. Loveluck was a public servant for over 50 years, beginning in the Board of Trade in Whitehall before returning to Wales to join the then newly established Welsh Office.

He subsequently served as Chief Executive of both the Wales Tourist Board and then the Countryside Council for Wales.

He also served on several charities and advisory bodies.

Upon his retirement from the executive roles, he was appointed President of the National Museum of Wales, where he served until 2011.

From 2011 to 2020 he served as a member of the Parliamentary Boundary Commission for Wales.
