Hyderabad, April 30 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Senior Vice President and Chairman of the Election Commission Coordination Committee, G Niranjan, lodged a complaint with Rajive Kumar, Chief Election Commissioner of the Election Commission of India (ECI), accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during an election meeting held at Alladurgam in Medak district on Tuesday.

In the complaint, a copy of which was released to the media, Niranjan stated that the ECI had issued the election schedule for the Lok Sabha elections on March 16, 2024, with the MCC immediately coming into effect.
