Shillong, May 3 -- Following a series of petrol bomb attacks over the past few days, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Friday assured the people that the situation in the state capital would be under control.

"We are very sure that the situation will be under control. So I assure the people of the city and the state that the government is doing everything in its capacity to ensure that these incidents are controlled and don't happen in the future," Sangma said.
