Mumbai, May 2 -- The rupee on Thursday remained almost flat at 83.42, rising one paisa against USD in the opening session on the selling of the US dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The rupee recorded intraday highs and lows at 83.40 and 83.45, respectively, the dealer added.
