Kolkata, April 25 -- Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) has launched the Centre of Excellence for Quantum Computing in the city to take a significant leap towards technological innovation.

The IEM's investment of Rs 10 crore in launching this aimed to empower students and researchers and pave the way for a quantum computing-driven future.

This investment is part of the Rs 600 crores commitment announced at the Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS), which will eventually help shape tomorrow's world, company director Satyajit Chakrabarti told a media conference on Wednesday.
