Barsar (HP), Jan. 29 -- About 31 goats and sheep of a shepherd were mauled by a dreaded leopard in the Bhakreri area of the district on Sunday and also injured fifteen lambs.
An official spokesman said Barsar SDM Rohit Sharma said on the complaint of Gaddi Kishori, the administration has gone to the spot and investigated. The administration has assured all possible assistance to Gaddi, named Kishori Lal.
Kishori Lal said at many places they had to suffer losses due to leopard attacks, and the same has happened in Badsar as well. He said the state government should come forward to help the Gaddi community.
He demanded that the government and administration provide compensation for the loss they have suffered due to the leopard.
