U.S. reiterate its stand, not to meddle in any Indo-Pak dispute
Washington, April 19 -- The United States on Wednesday stated that India and Pakistan should seek resolution through dialogue, while reiterating the country's non-interference stance regarding the allegations of India's anti-terror operations on Pakistani soil.
Top US government official Matthew Miller stated that the country encourages both India and Pakistan to "avoid escalation".
"So as I have said before, the United States is not going to get in the - into the middle of this, but we do encourage both India and Pakistan to avoid escalation and find a resolution through dialogue," US State Department spokesperson Miller said when asked about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent statement that "India will not hesitate to cross borders...
