Nigeria, March 29 -- Minister of Education Professor Mamman Tahir praised Adamawa State Polytechnic for the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) center in Yola.

The Minister, represented by Mr. Jacob Ango Umaru, who encouraged students to utilize the equipment for their trades, urged the Polytechnic to work with the state government to secure more equipment.

The Minister made these comments on Thursday during the inauguration of the NSQF in Yola.

The Polytechnic organized the ceremony to comply with the National Board of Technical Education's directive to promote skill acquisition among youths. 180 students will be trained in various skills.
