Dhaka, May 3 -- In a devastating accident on the Khulna-Mongla Highway near Chairmaner Mor (Chairman-Turn point) area under Rampal Upazila in Bagerhat district, three van passengers lost their lives when a speeding truck collided with the battery-run van rickshaw from behind. The incident occurred in the early morning at around 7:40 am on Saturday, April 27, according to a delayed report received here.
The collision resulted in the immediate death of one van passenger identified as Sayeed Morol (45). Additionally, four others, including the van's driver, sustained injuries.
