Dhaka, May 10 -- In a concerted effort to uphold traffic regulations and ensure road safety, the Traffic Wari Division executed a targeted operation against illegal modifications in vehicles. Led by DC (Traffic-Wari) Mohammad Ashraf Imam and supervised by ADC (Traffic-Wari) Sultana Ishrat Jahan, the operation, spearheaded by AC (Traffic-Demra zone) Mustain Billah Ferdous' team, took place from 07:00 PM to 9:30 PM on May 8th, 2024, at Matuail U-loop on Chittagong Road.
The crackdown, conducted under the purview of the Road Transport Act 2018, resulted in enforcement actions against six vehicles found in violation of regulations.
