Dhaka, May 6 -- A pregnant woman and her five-year-old son died after a tree fell on them in Kishoreganj's Karimganj upazila. The incident took place at Niamatpur Hajipara Ghonarbari village on Saturday night around 11:30 pm.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Karimganj, Farhana Ali Muktha confirmed this matter.
The victim identified as Roop Tara (45) wife of Abdul Kawium and their son h Taijul (5) at Ghonarbari village under Niamatpur Union.
Locals and police saids , after eating at night, Roop Tara and her son Taijul were sleeping in their house. Roop Tara's husband Abdul Kawium was in haor to harvest paddy.
