Dhaka, April 18 -- Import-export activities and passenger movement through immigration at the Banglabandha land port in Panchagarh will remain suspended for three consecutive days due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, and Cooch Behar constituencies of West Bengal, India, on April 19.

All import-export activities, including immigration at the port, have been suspended since Wednesday morning.

Panchagarh Police Superintendent SM Sirajul Huda confirmed the matter to the media.
