Dhaka, May 7 -- Amid a decrease in funding for the assistance of Rohingya refugees sheltered in Bangladesh, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to look for new partners to raise more funds.

The prime minister made the call when Director General (DG) of the UN's International Organization for Migration (IOM) Amy Pope went to Ganabhaban in Dhaka to pay a courtesy call on the premier on Tuesday.

In a media briefing after the meeting at PM's official residence, PM's Speech Writer M Nazrul Islam said the premier also asked the IOM to help relocate Rohingya refugees to Bhashanchar from Cox's Bazar camps.
