Dhaka, Feb. 14 -- Inflation and contractionary monetary policy have emerged as major challenges to export growth, experts said on Wednesday.

Addressing a seminar on export diversification, they also said that the national tariff policy needs to be revised to make it more 'exporter-friendly'.

The seminar titled 'Economic Diversification and Global Market: Bangladesh's Opportunities and Way Forward" was organised by the Bangladesh International Institute of Strategic Studies (BIISS) in the city.
