Dhaka, May 5 -- The Bangladesh Railway has launched two commuter trains on Bhanga-Dhaka-Bhanga and Bhanga-Rajbari-Bhanga routes via Padma Bridge.

It also plans commissioning of one more train for the Khulna-Jashore-Benapole route soon.

Railways minister Mohammad Zillul Hakim disclosed this on Saturday while inaugurating the commuter train named 'Bhanga' at Shibchar station in Madaripur.

Commuter train named 'Chandana' will run on the Bhanga-Rajbari-Bhanga route.

Mr Hakim said a new train on the Khulna-Jashore-Benapole route would be running in the next two months after the inauguration by the prime minister.
