Tanzania, March 31 -- Dar es Salaam. Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) on Sunday launched direct flights between Dar es Salaam and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

ATCL launched the new route at Julius Nyerere International Airport, Dar es Salaam Terminal 3.

Speaking during the launch, ATCL managing director Ladislaus Matindi said the airline is expanding its international network with the new route.

"Starting today, March 31, 2024, direct flights to Dubai will operate four times per week with the brand new and ultra-modern aircraft, the Boeing 737 MAX 9," he said.
